Mike’s Custom Kuts is a full service barbershop that specializes in fades, tapers, scissor cuts, straight blade shaves, kid’s cuts, shape ups, and designs. We also specialize in hot towel shaves using top of line products, provided in our relaxing private shave room. Hours of operation are: M-W 10am- 7pm, thurs 9am-8pm, Fri 8am-8pm, Sat 8am -6pm, and Sunday 10am-3pm. Mike GiraldoMike Giraldo is a Master Barber and owner of Mike's Custom Kuts Barbershop. Mike is the epitome of a business man, hustler and entrepreneur. At age 16, he worked part-time after school at The House of Fades in Bay Shore, New York, where he discovered that barbering was his true passion. Joey AdlerJoey Adler, at age 33, has over 17 years experience cuttin hair. He elected not to go the traditional barber school route and instead learned hands on as an apprentice barber at a busy salon in Port Jefferson. He worked as an apprentice for two years ,learned the business in and out, and passed his licensing exam on his first try as a Master Barber. Danielle CastrogiovanniDanielle Castrogiovanni is a Licensed Cosmetologist, who began her career working at salons as a stylist. In an effort to broaden her scope, and continue her education she took an apprenticeship working under Mike, at Mike’s Custom Kuts. Working alongside Mike she soon realized that her passion was for barbering. She is actively involved in continuing education, is certified in various techniques, is knowledgeable about many product lines, and recently participated in New York Fashion Week.
Marcus MarreroMarcus Marrero has almost two decades of experience , and is a master of his craft . He specializes in hair designs, the latest trends and classic styles . New to the MCK roster , Marcus is at the top of his game and always willing to share his knowlege . Elbin FloresElbin was introduced to barbering at the early age of 14, was hooked and knew then that it was his passion and would be his future career. Like many others he started cutting friends and family in order to gain experience and continued to grow. He was welcomed into the MCK family with open arms and seeks to make every haircut part of his story.
Joey DeccoJoey, like many other barbers started his career in his backyard, cutting family, friends and anyone willing to let him practice. At age 18, he decided that cutting hair was more than a hobby and that his goal was to be a professional barber.Joey decided on the Long Island Barber Institute where he graduated at age 20. Joey spent time working in his home town, and with a love and passion for the trade, he honed his skills and built a solid clientele.
Mike KlausMike began barber school at age 16, but wasn’t satisfied with just school so he worked part time as an apprentice in order to enhance his skills. By age 17, Mike already obtained his Master Barber License, and was working full time in the field.At age 18
mike came to MKC looking to learn and grow with the best. He is motivated to move forward in the field and seizes every opportunity to learn.
